Check your battery voltage at those speeds. I suspect you may have a problem with your rectifier.

How fast are they flashing at idle/off and how fast at say 5K?

In Germany, I guess they stick to the limit as they know that a few miles down the road there is a public racetrack (autobahn) where they can get their thrills.

In France, like the UK, I tend to stick to the 30/40/50 etc limits but when you get to the GLF, sorry, NSL signs, I open it up.

Sounds like you have a dodgy relay. Is this with the engine running as well as when its off?

If you put the original one back in do they flash too fast? The LED's may already have resistors fitted making the resistance too high so you would need to go back to the standard relay if they flash normally with the standard relay

:agree

Flashing too fast when the engine is running is down to the slightly higher voltage when using the incorrect wattage bulb. It could be a bulb that has failed and "re-made" itself.

you might be able to pin it down to one side btu its an easy and cheap job to replace all 4. The relay is behind the left side panel. You should replace that with an LED specific one if you have fitted LED bulbs

    • No, you don't. if time is tight you can actually leave the forks in the bike, just unscrew the forks tops from the stanchions (Use a socket on these to avoid damaging them) and the adjuster from the fork tubes (17/19mm spanner)

You do have to turn the whole bike upside down to drain the oil though :pokefun
