Driller's funeral
« on: 08 January 2014, 09:41:01 pm »

The date has been set for John's funeral as the 23rd of January at Kingsdown Crematorium, nr. Swindon.
He will leave his mansion at 11:30 and the family like the idea of a motorcycle procession to accompany him on his final journey. All are welcome so if you would like to participate it would be best to arrive approximately 11:00-11:15 to join this, although all attendees, motorcycle or cager are welcome to accompany him or wait for him at the Crematorium.
The wake will be held back at the family home afterwards, to which again everyone is welcome.
Please will everyone confirm below if they are coming, in what capacity and if you will be bringing a partner, ASAP to give an idea of numbers.
Any questions or for directions please call the family using his phone on 07973801008, ask here or I will help as best I can.
I'll put a map up nearer the time.

Miss ya John Boy,Have a great ride ride up there. If its half as good as our trip up Stelvio and a whole lot more Mountains we ascended.I know you will have a smile on your face. I just hope they have a Mc Donalds up there so you can stop for a Fag and a cup of your favourite Discounted Coffee. Never did work out how you always found them. The only place that got you was at the top of Stelvio. But the triumphant look on your face when you found one at the Bottom was something to behold. Bon Route Mon Ami. Toujours pense a vouse en tant que meilleur ami Les promenades sur juste ne sont pas les memes. Bye s/accoupler....Larry

OMG , I haven't been on here for months and I've only just seen this. Driller was a friend and a top bloke. What happened?! Was it his heart? :((((((((

Hi all, with sad heart I read his only today.

After some life changing events a few years ago, I haven't been on here for a long time.

My deepest sympathy to John's family and friends.

I had the good fortune to have met John back in 2006 and kept in touch till early 2009. After sad news myself I dropped awy.

John was a true friend and a great biker brother.

On wings of Angels may you ride.

best regards.

Rusty. AKA Davebikes.
p.s. Matty hope your well mate.

Hi Slim , thank you, John was a real bike enthusiast and wonderfully passionate about two wheels.
Mature biker and always had a great reserved attitude on life.

Here's to meeting up again soon and making some more friends.

Ride safe all.

Best regards.

Rusty.
