Broken lid
« on: 13 July 2016, 04:00:54 pm »
Ok so i put my lid on the mirror and it fell off. When you stop laughing (weve all done it) what has happened is the plastic bit what holds the visor on has broken and wont glue back together so can i get a new bit for my overpriced hjc rpha st and if so where from. All reasonable suggestions are welcome.

It's up to you, but personally I wouldn't use that lid again if it's been dropped.
You never know if the shell has cracked and weakened internally. It could fail in the event of an off.  :eek

Like I say though, it's your call. It's your head and I guess you know how hard and far the lid fell.

Thanks Freck but it only rolled of the mirror and landed on its open visor. the only damage was the retaining dodah and a small scratch on the visor. I think ill take my chances :) .
