Front end wobble, any suggestions?

Hi, i have a 99 FZS600

when riding at normal speeds if i remove my hands from the handlebars they wobble quiet badly, any idea where to look? i had the front wheel bearing done last year.

Check the front tyre for balance/wear next the headraces.

will try those first, guessing there will be something on youtube on how to check headrace bearings, thanks

Got a top box or rack on? I’ve had bikes that where the box would make it shake a lot.

funny you mention that, i installed a Givi monorack and E52 Maxia box last week!!  :eek

i suppose its worth a ride out without box on see what happens.

Yep these too will, cause instability but only at higher speeds.  What they will do is expose other issues i.e. front tyre, headraces at lower speeds.

When you take your hands off the bars its your body shaking because you are riding at "normal" FAZER speed - slow down to other bike speeds and you will be ok.
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

Yes I had a wobble too then replaced front tyre and had the wheel balanced. Good as gold now... much nicer to ride.
