Want to fit new clocks
« on: 29 January 2020, 08:17:47 am »
Its been a while since i was last here, bikes been laid up since oct 1st and cannot come out to play till mar 1st
(winter tyre rules) anyway whilst generally looking and dreaming of spring/summer 2020 i've decided that i would like to update my original clocks and slim down the cockpit for a cleaner look.

My thoughts at this point are: find some yamaha lcd clocks (rpm 12k) and see if they can somehow be fashioned into the existing clock loom,

Or

Buy a set of koso copies / other lcd speedos off the bay around £40.

Is it possible to wire up the fuel guage from analogue to digital?
How do i wire up the speedo sensor (both options)

Can anyone help me in regards to this who has already done this??
What colour wires from yamaha original loom to new speedo, pics would be ideal.

Cheers foccers

Hi all,
I watched FortNine on YouTube see

jump to 3:40/9:18 this looks an interesting display replacement....

And you can get one of the models on amazon uk.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Trail-Tech-202-704-Endurance-Computer/dp/B007NNJKCG/ref=as_li_ss_tl?keywords=trail+tech&qid=1561143421&s=gateway&sr=8-1&linkCode=ll1&tag=fortnine-21&linkId=e292f3dc6257eeebac441d49cb7585ab&langua

The voyager pro looks great but a bit expensive at £575 http://www.trailtechproducts.co.uk/acatalog/Voyager_Off_Road_Motorcycle.html

Upload them to the downloads section, would make it easier for people to find
