I've actualy bought one of these - not had chance to run out with it yet though.  Will update once we get some warmth!

I filled a form out on the Yamaha stand at the motoGP at Silverstone in 2010. Had a parcel a few weeks later - I had won 1st prize of a Fiat Yamaha paddock shirt signed by Rossi himself!

Made up for the fact that he wasn't there due to breaking his leg.

Iis the standard shock that noticable that it needs replacing?
I am a fairly sporty rider but imagine the Fazer will be infinitely better in the handling dept. than my Aprilia Caponord.
I do a fair bit of two-up riding too wth the good lady on board so imagine I'll be sourcing the site for upgrade advice.

seemed a really nice guy.  He didn't mention the rear so am not sure if it is standard now or not.  Will check at the weekend when he delivers it.

Loads of little bits done on it to make it a good un' too.

that'll be the one! I knew someone here would have seen it. looks good in the flesh with a good quality paint job.

thanks guys. it seems to be pretty sorted with an Ivans kit already fitted and a scorpion exhaust as well as a number of modifications including fairing lowers and a belly pan with a fiat Yamaha paint job.

I'm hoping to take it for a ride out on Sunday to celebrate 6 weeks since breaking my wrist and having it pinned and plated - I'll just not have to use full throttle!!

hi all, just had to share the news. Just bought a gen1 Fazer thou. getting it delivered next Saturday but can't ride yet due to a broken wrist from my last bike!

I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Had a Fazer 600 a few years ago and am looking forward to coming home

Introduction / Back to Fazerdom?
« on: 25 November 2011, 05:42:26 pm »
Hi lads and lassies,
It's been so long since my last visit here that I've had to register again!  I used to frequent the site at the turn of the millenium when I was roaming the streets of Norfolk on my favourite bike, my Gold Fazer 600 (gold because it was the fastest colour :) ).
Since selling it, I have had a cruiser and currently own a giant triallie Aprilia ETV1000 Caponord.  My Capo is currently sat broken in my garage following being taken off it last Sunday by a Pug 106 :'(
I'm currently awaiting the insurance assessor to see if it can be repaired or not.  Since it is Italian and the bits cost a fortune it is likely to become a wad of cash instead of a motorbike.
As my wrist is bust, pinned and plated, I have a little time to start dreaming of what to get next.  Of course, my mind heads back to a Fazer, but 1000cc flavoured this time!
Anyway, just thought I'd say hi to you all, and look forward to sharing some fun on here - just like the good old days of spending nightshifts with tears in my eyes reading through the posts.
Hopefully catch some of you out on the roads on my Fazer thou' once I get it and my wrist can reach full throttle again!
Cheers, Scott (aka B1ondini)
