I believe most are made in Thailand or Brazil since 2002. Could be wrong though.  :rolleyes
I could change my opinion, but then we'd both be wrong.

Yeah Hinckley, the guy who bought the name and revived the brand is from Sibson.

I would've thought many of the parts would be made abroad but the whole assembled at Hinckley?

Yeah. Parts imported from all over the world. Lovingly bolted together here in the Uk. Exported all around the globe and still more expensive here than most countries that import them
Complete fabrication, I didn't make it up!

Not too bad on roads I use, but one or two places still having problems due to damaged roads/bridges, and everyone still on tenterhooks because it wouldn't take much for the saturated ground to overflow again. Still some shops and businesses closed while they dry out and carry out repairs, so some inconvenience, but doesn't affect me much. I pity the poor buggers who have been hit for the 2nd or 3rd time in 10 years, and what do you do now? Repair your home, knowing it could all happen again at any time? Next month? Next week? Tomorrow?

What we need is for Tampax to start producing 40 foot square tampons, when the rains come throw one outside your front door, job done. Anything that can stop a psychopathic menstruating woman bleeding to death should have no issues stopping a little rain water now and again  :eek
