Those traffic light sensor strips in the road that detect when you go over them. Only thing is sometimes me and my bike dont seem heavy enough to set them off and I end up sitting there watching the sequence go over and over each time bypassing me, until a car comes behind me and instantly gets me a green light.

I have taken to going very slow and diagonally over them to get my full weight on them, I have even reversed back over and bounced up and down to get a light change

I didn't think it was weight, thought it was magnetic......

sorry no pics from me but must have the boys and girls viewing the traffic cams a head scratcher.

So are they pressure or magnetic - either way they sometimes dont work and my antics seems to get them to

They work by induction, a bit like a metal detector. I've had the same problem with ones in combined bus and cycle lanes because there just isn't sufficient metal on a bicycle to trigger them all the time. If that happens, I'll stop and if the lights cycle more than once without mine changing I'll treat it as a Stop sign and proceed with caution.

Here's a bit about them, although I don't guarantee its techniques will definitely work! http://www.wikihow.com/Trigger-Green-Traffic-Lights

Foccing tax man, for the last five years I have been sent notices saying I have underpaid  tax, when I haven't ,this year got it all straightened out and I got a refund of  £24.80 :)
Just got another letter off them saying I underpaid by £342 in 2012/2013, when you ring them to complain about how useless they are and they should sack the person who cannot do basic maths they take the hump.
I wouldn't mind but I am on paye, one wage and one pension, how hard can it be?

AHHHHHHH, I've just walked through Canterbury, must have been all of 5 minutes and I had:

1) A chap on a push bike ride through a red light just as our pedestrian crossing was turning green... I called out that he had just gone through a red light and got the finger..... WANKER!

2) A chap in his cage go through a very late amber just going red on another pedestrian crossing ON HIS PHONE!  He was only crawling along in traffic, maybe 10 mph so could and should have stopped......WANKER

If that's what's going on in quarter of a mile imagine how bad it's getting across the country...

I see as many car drivers and bikers  run red lights every day , as well as parking on pavements , and speeding and plenty of other stupid things , people in glasshouses springs to mind .

Motorcyclists who over exaggerate the top speed of their bikes. If they want to impress a non rider, fair enough, but don't try to tell me their GPZ500 does 170.......

Those numpties at eBay who thought it was a good idea to upgrade the app that was working perfectly :groan

It took me ages to go into the community section and find out how to get it back, and then it was another member who told me how to do it not anyone from eBay, I think the eBay people were too busy telling people the new app is the best thing since sliced bread and report to them the issues I have. What? I'm now testing their foccin app? Pay me and I'll do that sir!

The stock tube would end where the grip ends, the thundercat end weight has a long shoulder before the thread that fits inside the tube
