Seen this on a fireblade page on fb.

If your old blade doesn’t comply with ULEZ take it to riverbank motorcycles in Hackney Wick tel:0208 983 4896 they are the only TfL certified test centre and my 98 blade now complies 👍🏼

You guys mention uprated springs....
As with the fork lengths queried above, I cant seem to find any info in the Haynes manual on the standard spring rates (only the spring free length is given, 344mm)
So... any info on the std spring rates, and more importantly, what did you put in instead ?
It’s in the manual they are dual rate springs. Too soft and then too hard, but I can’t remember the numbers.

I have the s1000rr shock to fit when I can get around to it. I’ll probably get ktec or someone to redo the forks after that. Anyone decent in the midlands to do my forks ?

I find it hard to accept the ktec adjuster won’t fit. If anyone has a spare fork bottom. Unscrew the comp adjuster out and measure the thread size and pitch, something will fit.

You might just want to pull the hoses off to drain it if there’s any chance of the drain bolt shearing off.

I’ll have the fork springs if they’re progressive type?

Just to say, I’ve got round to fitting the fork springs and they are a great improvement over the stocks. I’ve got a 10w oil in there and these ktec springs are around 5mm shorter than the standard springs. I’ve the preload wound right off and the fork tops pulled 10mm up through the yoke. 7clicks rebound. Can’t remember what compression settings, but it’s a much nicer ride.

Alternatively you may wish to contact the vehicle manufacturer'shomologation department

This would be better as homologation would, I would hope, in law cover the whole manufactured fleet of bikes.

How’s this, I don’t go to London on my bike, but I might want to, Same as I might want to go to Birmingham or York or other cities. I will give Gazza a £5 towards the coc on the basis he gets one and shares it with us or as said TFL add the bike to the exempt list. A few more of us chipping in and Gazzas not out of pocket.

Great! how much with post?
Say £70? They are on eBay at the moment. I would have to pull the advert.

I had to take the bush out of the original clutch lever bolt as the hole is too big on these, still useable but better with a tighter fit.suggest you do the same.

125
Hi mustang , are the levers still available ? Wanted to try some for a while now , old hands with a bit of arthritis, pins and needles and numbness is making long rides a bit uncomfortable now....
Yes still here, I’ll send you pm with my details if you want them.
