I did feel sorry for Quartararo, though. So close to his first win after giving Marquez a run for his money for the whole race, only to be pipped at the line  :'(

Next year is going to be a cracker with those two, Dovi and who knows who else fighting it out at the front. Back to the good old days of the Aliens  :thumbup

Oi! I'm not  :nana

Pedrosa is a leach. He never wins championships, he just takes points away from championship contenders.

I'd pay good money to see Crutchlow on the second Honda but I think you're right that there's no chance with Repsol as their major sponsor.

I'll be there in spirit  :)

You'd need to check that the link pipe fits the can you want to buy. Can manufacturers make link pipes for specific bikes that fit their cans - the pipe diameter and shape might not be right for other cans.

It's not the end can that matters, it's the link pipe. If you can get a link pipe for a Fazer you can fit any can you like :thumbup

I've got a single-port Blue Flame: link

Sad to see the end of an era, Geek ;) but then there always comes a time when you have to move on. Thanks for all the hard work, you've been an admin since I joined the board and it'll be strange not to have you there.

Sold! Well, given away  :lol

ajmes1's Dad isn't taking it any more so it's still up for grabs.

fazerboy01, I've PM'd you.

Noone? :( Is £80 too much? I'll consider offers.

Nice one, ajmes :thumbup

I tried to give it to the local Regional College for their mechanics course but apparently they only use car engines :rolleyes  :lol

I'll get that PM to you.

For Sale & Wanted / SOLD: Black fuel tank for Mark 1 FZS 600

This has just been taken off my bike, a 51 plate. It's the larger (20 litre) capacity tank for the square headlight Mark 1 600.

There's a shallow dent where the previous owner's knee hit it in an off, hence I've finally replaced it with the one he gave me when I bought the bike from him 11 years ago! It might be fixable if you've got the know-how and the tools. Apart from that and some small wear and tear chips it's in great condition as it's had a tank protector on it since I got the bike.

The ones on eBay at the moment are going for £125 to £175 but don't have dents so I think £70 ono is reasonable.

Postage options: Parcelforce express48 - £16 (2 day delivery by c.o.p.), Parcelforce express24 - £20 (1 day delivery by c.o.p.) or pick up from Milton near Cambridge.

Edit: added photos. You can see the dent in the first one. The white marks on top in the second one are actually the reflection of the can on my bike. You can see the yellow of the number plate as well.

No reply from the Portuguese guy or the other bidder  :wall so anyone who'll take it away can have it for nothing.

21
Follow up, in case anyone's wondering: he answered my PM so it's all good :thumbup

God I love eBay  :rolleyes

A lot of Foccers (including me) have gone for a Hagon replacement shock. It's British and you can get it rebuilt :thumbup

It's amazing what saying "NO RESERVE" will do. Four days to go and already 5 bids taking it to £41 :thumbup

25
I can't be arsed stripping it and, based on the response from my local bike mechanic, noone would want the parts anyway.

I give up, I've relisted it with no reserve. I just want rid of it now.

I'd be really interested to see a link to the £50 working FZS600 engine, though, or are you perhaps just making that up?
