People who are gender fluid are not gay, they were born with the wrong brain. Their genitals indicate one sex, while their mind may indicate another. It really really is none of our business.

Corrected that mistake for you mtread

It wont be rust but corrosion does look bad on some bikes.
Take some autosol and wire wool and they will clean up. Just lacquer them again and you shouldn't see the problem again for years.

It sounds like it could just do with a dam good service. Get it booked into a local place and let them give it a good going over.

What would have been the problem with a small cardboard box with them both side by side?

they aren't as obvious on the shelf then and you may buy a competitors product instead

I’m surprised she didn’t hear it. A deflated tyre flogging along kicks up quite a racket.

Twice I have been in hire cars in the USA where the suspension was so soft, the concrete roads too noisy and the roads too straight that we have had blowouts and not noticed for so long that the tyre was shredded.

This is actually a phenomenon of computer programming :D

Now time to bore you all with details!

The lack of a date of birth would be equal to 0, which for unix timestamps (how time is kept on a lot of computer systems) is equivalent to 01/01/1970 at 00:00:00.0000 :D

which in English means those lazy foccers haven't put their birthdate into the forum so the forum defaults to 1/1/1970/

Looks to me like the TV needs a manufacturer specific cable. Probably cheaper and easier to fit a block of wood behind the tv to give you the space you need or get a new bracket that is slightly further off the wall.

The final solution then will be to get a new tv bracket that gives more space for cables behind the TV :pokefun

Get your passport and head off to Normandy/Loire on the bike. Loads of great biking roads over there and the FZS600 copes brilliantly with them.

Introduction / Re: Insurance
« on: 08 January 2018, 01:48:36 PM »
The option to buy your bike back is down to the insurance company. Basically they don't want the agro of getting rid of it so sell it back to you. Its up to them if they offer this. Not all do.

In your case, they have admitted liability. Just argie the case to get a good valuation for it based on dealer adverts for similar condition/mileage bikes. Send these to the insurance company and push for they average of the advert prices less any excess you may be liable for if the accident was your fault. In this case you say it wasn't your fault, so push for the average replacement cost from a dealer based on the adverts you can produce from reputable sources. (bike trader/e-bay classifieds etc).

FZS600 Fazer / Re: Looking into panniers
« on: 08 January 2018, 01:21:02 PM »
Another quick question.
In general how are the Givi ones for filtering? Or do I just get smaller boxes?
Just wondering if I'm going to end up being stuck in traffic on a long ride, not so fun!?
If so then I guess I'll just deal with it anyway, but how do you guys get on with them?

Depends what cases you fit. there are loads of different size cases you can get.

Also, remember filtering isn't legal in some places (like France) but generally, if the bars fit through the gaps, the panniers will (speaking as an ex-Pan owner) if you don't get boxes that are batter placed on the roof of a car.

Are you sure they are genuine NGK? There are a lot of fakes about.
