Good day out, bad end of the evening
« on: 15 March 2020, 12:33:02 pm »
Had a great day out yesterday when I went with a mate to watch Wealdstone play Chippenham in a National League South football match.
Unfortunately, lost my wallet, with what seems like my whole world inside, including approx £100 in cash, on the train coming home.
Bugger!!!  :thumbdown :wall :groan

No coffee, I paid for a couple of beers in a pub on the way home after the match.
Deffo on the train.

Have you checked with the rail company? You never know, somebody might have handed in. Cleaners usually do the entire train at the terminus.  Even if they've filched the cash, would be good to get the rest of the contents back.

Was your address anywhere in the wallet? I found one dropped at a bus stop. It had an id in it with an address so I posted the wallet in the letter box at the address. Minus the cash of course. Only joking :lol

Yes folks, thanks for the suggestions.
I've registered with lost property at Great Western Railway and Transport For Wales, so got all my fingers crossed.
My driver's licence is in there too, so, if it did get lost elsewhere, there's the chance some kind-hearted person could post it to me.
Wouldn't it be great to have something nice happen in these troubled times???
