Not sure how to respond ??
You sold me a cartridge that dont fit!
I understand that's not your intention, but now its time to do the right thing...

All I want is to return the cartridge, and get my money back.

PLEASE answer on EBAY since that's where the deal was done, ok ?

Hi Kebab19,
its your fault I'm doing this modification, your fantastic threads about the fork and rear suspension mods! :)
I saw that you had used VFR800 springs, are they linear and how are they compared to the Racetech you recommend?
What year of VFr800 would fit, and do you know any other springs that also could fit from other bikes?

About the rear mod with R& shock, is the linkage nesesary to get it to work or only the shock with changed springs ?

Hahaha :lol
True that !
The carbs was easy but the foc-ing engine is impossible for me to get out ! :'(

Northern Biker: When you wrote from left, do you mean if I sit on the bike the engine should removed out to the left side ?
I have tried and it hooks up against the left side of the  rear engine mounts since its longer on the left side, hope you understand my explaination...

Why couldnt the litle japan engineer have solve this the same way as my old cb750f, you just remove a part of the lower frame and Voila !
its so easy to get the engine out !!

Back wards engineering... ;)

Thanks for quick answers !

The reason is that the 2nd gear wont accept any throttle before it slips out :'(
I got a good deal on a healthy engine and it sounded a lot easier to change engine than to strip the faulty one.

It might just be the gear forks that might need replacing, I didnt know that this was a standard Fzs problem before I found this forum..
I suspected that the gear was rounden and under load didnt hook up to each other (hope you understand my explanation....).

Anyway I bought this bike dirt cheap and therefor have a margin and was lazy and think its easier to just change the engine.
 :lol
The bike have not been used in almost 5 years so I got a chock when removing the carbs !
All 4 needle valves are stuck and for some reason Yamaha have put in 2 screws in each carb,  that is not rust proof....
Those screws will be replaced with stainless ones.

If you have more recommendation that I should do to get it of easy please let me know!

FZS600 Fazer / Re: R6 rear shock on the FZS600
« on: 04 May 2019, 10:40:27 am »
Hi all,
Im new to this great forum and REALLY like all the wisdow it has !
I live in Sweden and getting the right springs and shocks is quite hard...
Forgot to mention I have a 2002 fzs 600.

I have an ad  in the sell section but no luck yet...
A few questions about the suspension mods on this bike:
Is the R6 (o8->)still the shock to use?
Is there a spring that would fit a 95kg without the need to fabricate a spacer?
A fork spring question (I know not the corret thread..) some have used VFR750/800 springs in the fork, what year and modell and what weight does it work for ?
I live in Ohlins country (Sweden  :rollin )but its hard to get suspension help out here....
