Welcome to the forum, I hope you gave those original Dunlops a good look at,  cracks in sidewalls maybe after being stood for a long time.

You wouldn't believe it if I told you there was about 2" of chicken strip on the rear! And that's no exaggeration! Seriously, there was.
After I rode her home, there was about 1/2" and it was only 10 miles up the road.
A bit squirmy and handled poor, I thought something was awry, so I checked pressures.
15psi up front, 18psi on rear..... :eek
All OK now though......

Hi, my profile's name is Jim but I couldn't register with my real name as someone else had it. And I couldn't think of anything witty, so Jim it was. (Nick in real life!)

Just bought a '10' plate FZ1S. 1330 miles on the clock! Virtually box fresh, I know, I couldn't believe it either, but all checks came up as legit.  8) Even the front disks show the original machine marks, hardly used the brakes by the look. Original Dunlop tyres on her too.
Blue, covered in dust when I picked her up, but polished up now. Just needs small servicing, the usual stuff, especially the chain as it's got light surface rust on it, but nothing major.
I've had a few other bikes, all the other Jap makes, this is the first Yam.
Just sold a ZX10R which was a handful, I had fun, but as usual, age doesn't work well with leaning over the tank and putting pressure on wrists.
Only today, I sold a 25 year old CBR1000F which I've just rode up through Spain and France. So instead of having a sports and tourer, opted for the FZ to do both. (That and the fact I've now created a lot more space with one bike instead of two!)

I'll post some pictures up, maybe, but you all know what a box standard FZ1S looks like.
I'm not a prolific poster as I don't do Facebook, Twitter and all the others that don't interest me at all.

Thanks, be back again soon!! Nick (Jim)
