Hi
« on: 30 January 2013, 03:27:09 am »
Hi all!
I got my FZS 600 (02) in October after my previous bike (bandit 600) was stolen. You can imagine my guilt when I quickly fell in love with the Fazer.
I've browsed the foc-u forum loads since but I was convinced to register on Sunday night when ChristoT pulled up next to my parked bike and revved until I came out of the house for a chat. I love friendly gestures like that.
I'm on a restricted license until June when I can finally pull those washers out.

Can't wait to get to know folk.

Greetings EndaF and welcome to the forum for Fazeristers. A piccy or two of your newer pride and joy would be a good one too. Sorry to hear about the theft of your Bandit, never a good thing having a bile nicked, but at least you've replaced ot with a better bike  :D
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!

Thanks for the warm welcome  :)
I had always heard that the Fazer was superior to the Bandit but I was surprised at the difference when I actually got on one. No one thing was amazingly superior but everything was a little better. The result was incredible and I'm extremely happy with my Fazer.
I've added a picture for your approval.

I should add that the (in my case) grey lining was made a little brighter when my Bandit was recovered a couple of weeks after the theft with only minor damage. I'm hoping to make a bit of a project of it, not sure of the details yet.

Thanks again

I parked my bike up by yours earlier today, and one thing astounds me. HOW DO YOU KEEP IT SO CLEAN?!? What is your secret??   :lol

Ha! Clean? The poor thing hasn't seen soap in too long. Having said that I rode into London through the rain on Tuesday night. That's probably the secret you're looking for  ;)
