Hi guys Just had a full service on my FZS600 and she is running perfectly, however tyres were a little flat, the garage bumped them up but I forgot to ask what they should be (Front and back) I've heard it depends on the rider though so I thought I'd ask you lot what psi I should have in front and rear tyres I'm 6 foot 2 and weigh 72kg (11.3 stone) (158lbs) What tyre pressure should I be riding on the front and back? Hope you guys can help, thanks in advance

Hi guys
Bit of a story here. I was in central London having dinner with my friends, afterwards I returned to my parked park which had been there for about 3 hours, it was a cold evening so when I turned it on it struggled for a few seconds then cut off, no biggy, I simple turned it back on and it started and stayed on fine (obviously revs were low as engine was cold).
I then went to the back of my bike to take my chain off my back wheel, as I knee down on the floor some drunk moron ran over to my bike and rev'd ridiculously too much, he completely redlined it and probably bounced it off the limiter.
Of course I got up to confront the drunken idiot who I told to get lost before I wrapped my chain round his skull (I was very angry at what he had done) after he left I couldn't help but smell a burning smell around my bike, the smell quickly went away and after 10 minutes of just letting the bike tick over on its own without revving it at all I rode home (20 minute journey) and it didn't seem to be performing any differently.
However I'm a bit of a worrier and I care a lot about engine health etc, since riding mopeds at 16 I have always let my bikes warm up before taking them onto any roads where high rpm will be required and I have never redlined a bike in my life. So as you can imagine, my worries right now are all about my bike and any potential damaged the idiot could have done redlining my bike from cold (it was only on for about 20 seconds).
Was wondering what anyone thoughts were?
Sorry for the long story, I just really wanted to get the whole thing across.
Thanks.

Hi guys
I'm interested in fitting an aftermarket exhaust to my 2001 Fazer and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good quality and loud exhausts for it.
*please note I personally just prefer loud exhausts, I in no way have anything against the quieter ones, nor am I one of these boys racers who uses their loud can to annoy people deliberately, it is just a personal preference.
*also note my Fazer current has a Carbon (the brand Carbon, not wrapped carbon) exhaust on it.
Thanks guys hope you can help 😊

Hey guys
Went on a ride today across London, took about an hour, got to where I was going and parked up, the bike was parked for about an hour and a half to 2 hours, when I got back to it I started it and it was sounding like it was too cold to stay on, so I put the choke on a little bit and the bike stalled instantly.
I turned the choke off and turned the bike back on and then it really didn't sound happy, sounded like it was struggling to get fuel in it, when I Rev'd it a little it was just wasn't the normal noise, I rode it back home to which after about 10 minute and the bike getting warm it sounded perfect, and it did the whole hour long journey fine, even when I came to a red light it sounded perfect despite what it sounded like before I set off.
I'm not ruling out the possibility that I did something wrong and am an idiot so please don't hesitate to stay I made a mistake because I need to know so that I don't do it again.
Hope someone can help me out with this.
Thanks guys

Hi guys Was wondering if anyone could help me with my small problem. Basically every so often I'll be going to set off from a red light, or roundabout etc in 1st gear and as I set off the clutch lever seems to be very sticky as I release it, it's almost jumpy as if it's moving, then stops, then moves a little bit more, then stops and then reaches it's normal position, I don't know if this is a problem with the actually clutch or the lever itself as it doesn't seem to do it in an other gear, just 1st, and it doesn't do it all the time, literally just every so often. Sorry for my poor description hope someone can help Thanks

Hi guys I'm moving to university this month, and I'm taking my FZS600 with me but sadly it has to be parked outside my accommodation, I was wondering if anyone knew of any great waterproof covers to cover the full bike? If so any suggestion would be much appreciated thanks. (Photo of my bike below)

Hi guys
Just brought a 2001 FZS600, it has 2 out of the 4 carbs blocked and not working probably so the bike is not running at it's best anyway, but I went on Holiday for a week last week and when I came back yesterday I turned the bike on and all of a sudden it start throwing it's oil out all over the floor, I turned the bike off and it stopped and once I followed the trail of oil I could swear it was leaking from the upper part of the bike but could not find a definite location.
I went out, got some new 10w40 semi synthetic bike oil, put it in the bike and turned it on and ran it for about 5-10 minutes and this time it didn't leak a thing, was wondering if anyone could tell me what on earth happened? I'm having the carbs cleaned next week to hopefully have the bike working the way it should do.
Hope someone can help.
Thanks
