Well refitted the standard exup header and what a difference !!  so much smoother idle and a tad quieter on tickover to mid revs.
Seems to pick up better as well.

I used the Weymoto cables so I hope the cable ends hold up

Now for a service, the bikes done just under 19 thou do you think it needs the valves adjusted yet, the service schedule says every 40,000 klms (24,850 miles) seems a lot of miles to me?

Any help anyone?.

Just want to re-install standard set of headers with the exup valve and was wondering what needs to be removed from the bike before you can gain access to the downpipes.

What do you need to remove to refit a standard set of exhaust headers, I take it the radiator has to be removed?
Also anyone got pics of the exup cable routing as my bike was bought with the exup system removed except for the cable servo/motor.
I have purchased the Wemoto "slinky glide" cables they look quite good for the money, one of them has a black end and I was wondering if there is a difference between the two cables ?

Just thought I'd say hi even though I've been a member and had my bike about 2 months now.
I love the site and look forward to chatting to you all.

I have a RST pro series Adventure textile jacket and trousers and they are really good comes with a waterproof removable lining and a further thermal lining for the winter all of which can be used together at the same time.
