Delboy’s videos are good for entertainment value, but that’s about all....

I’ve got titanium pins in the front and OEM pins in the rear. No rust or corrosion on either. Regular cleaning and maintenance is the key.

I used to do the same but stopped using copper grease 2-3 years ago and it is so much easier to keep the callipers and pads clean and working well. I found that copper grease just attracts all sorts of grit and crap turning into grinding paste and for no real benefit. From what I remember, there is nothing in the service manual about using grease anywhere on the pads or pins.

The only grease I use is a little red rubber grease when cleaning/replacing brake pistons/seals. No need for any grease or lubricants anywhere else.

I drilled and tapped mine no problem. Used a workmate to hold them firm. The 'drilling' was done by hand (masonry drill bit held in mole grips) - more of a reaming process really than drilling. Very little material has to be removed - I think some have managed to tap them without drilling at all, but I found it easier to ream them a bit first.

They were optional extras. If you go to the download area there is a document showing all the original optional accessories.

I went for 3 hose at the front, just because I think it looks neater.

Venhill seems to have availability issues.

They are made to order and can be modified to your specifications if necessary (eg extra length for bar risers). They aren’t cheap (I got the stainless ones) but quality is first class.

Removed the swing arm ready to replace the bearings in the swing arm and the suspension linkage 'knuckle' (slight play in suspension linkage noted as an advisory on the last MOT). Cleaned and inspected the swing arm and removed the bearings. Swing arm is starting to look a bit ropey in places so got a quote for re-anodising it at £200. Hmmmm

Venhill lines are highly recommended. Top quality and the swivel banjo fittings making installation very simple.

Thank you!

Just searched for the Suzuki part number: 13580-21F00

The Suzuki one is just another option if you can find one at a reasonable price. I think there is one on Ebay for about £80 but coming direct from Japan.....

If the bush needs replacing (as mine did), lots of heat is required. I used a mapp gas blow torch.

Had my bike Ivanised (slip-on) by Mike a few years ago. I know it goes well but decided to put it on the dyno just out of curiosity.

130.5bhp, 75.04 torque, lovely power curve and fueling is spot-on. The guy running the dyno was very impressed and said dont do anything to it, its perfect! Well pleased - Ivans development expertise and Mike's brilliant work continue to deliver.....

I would say it depends on how much weight we are talking. Last trip I went on with pillion and full luggage I had to wind the preload up to maximum.

Thanks Trebus

I tried to find the CST data for the Yamalube and Hyperpro oils but no luck. Although maybe not a precise science, I'm thinking mixing them 50:50 should give a reasonable approximation for a 7.5W oil.
