Header pipe brackets
« on: 07 November 2011, 10:54:32 pm »
I've got my down pipes off to sort out the e?@& valve and while they we're off give them a good clean. Managed to get them sparkling again but the header brackets look a right mess! These can't be replaced so I'm looking for cleaning tips so they match my sparkling pipes.

Cheers

im about to do mine,i have sliced some toilet roll inner tubes which slide inside them nicely and hold the pipe brackets in a ideal place to make it easy to paint them,im going to use a dremel to remove the rust on them then use some heat resistant paint to tidy them up,and i have some nice stainless steel cup nuts and lock washers to bling them up a bit more
