Luggage rack help please
« on: 03 May 2013, 04:07:52 pm »
I recently bought Givi  V35 tech panniers and a 460 top box to fit on my FZ1. The rack for these panniers as well as being bike specific is also pannier specific, not a problem. The thing that I would like to know is 1, has anybody got these fitted to there bike ? 2, can the rack be fitted to the bike which has a tail tidy fitted ?
Any help is much appreciated thanks

it depends on whether you're travelling east or west.
north and south are totally out of the question

I have this set up on my FZ1 fazer and it will fit though it's a bit of a fiddle depending on which tail tidy you have. On mine I had to split the tail tidy and turn the number plate bit upside down and refit it or it will foul the rear indicators. The quick release pannier racks are a great idea.

Cheers Taksi, my bike has the Evotech tail tidy fitted. Looks like I'll be going for it, prob splash out and go for the quick release option.

Thanks again
