Hi for me Gen2 is a much better bike although I appreciate that will not be the case for all. To be honest I have loved all my Fazers.

Welcome Steven

Picking up a gen 2 on Thursday......in the same colour scheme......the fastest colour scheme of course :D

Looks like you are well qualified to join in the age old gen 1 vs gen 2 debate.

Has it had any mods done to it?

Im up visiting scotland in June...where abouts are you based???...as Mick says get your pin on the members map which will help like minded foccers organise meets and rideouts.

Cheers

Hi Fras

Mods so far are customed seat,  removed exup cables,  put on risers,  changed screen and added sliders other than that I am going to leave it alone.

I am in Alloa and blessed with great roads all around me. Give us a shout when your up in June If I am about then could meet up. I am of to Nottingham on business for a few days from 5th June other than that....

Where are you headed when your up?

Cool, would be nice to hear more about the FZ if I meet you but i'll be on the old 600 in June.
by all accounts my FZ1 sounds like it is modded up to the max, i'll let you know on Thursday if I can stop shaking enough to type :lol
off to Glenrothes but my gran is through in Dollar so I kinda know Alloa, I think a couple more Scottish foccers could be up for a little jont so maybe we can get a little ride north sorted out.

Why on earth would you come up on the old noggyfighter if you have a new Gen2

Coz it's where i'm from....look i know it's a shit hole but the eastern europeans have really increased the standards and actually you know now that they've moaned about the squalid conditions of the bolt together flats & they're now being demolished then the locals who thought they were pretty plush are starting to now shop in iceland with their new social standing and the....................oh hang on.........foc.......why the 600....ahhhhhh......well that's a bit controversial. :b
