Hi
« on: 22 September 2012, 11:55:04 pm »
Hi everyone

Thought I'd better introduce myself.

My name's Richard, I recently decided that I was fed up with 4 wheels, so finally did my full bike test.  I've been meaning to do it since I was 17, so 17 years later at the ripe old age of 34 and, with my wife's disapproval, I did it!

Decided to buy a FZS600 (2000)...and I love it!!  It's got a fair few extras, which was a bonus, low mileage...and only had to go next door to buy it!!  lol

Anyway, thought I'd join up here now that I am a Fazer owner  :D

I took the precaution of passing my test 30yrs ago before I got married, in fact it was a couple of months before I even met my wife.

Welcome Richard. Hope your wife comes round. I'm back after a 20 year break - my wife thought I had been in mourning long enough and encouraged me to get two wheels again. Guess I'm very fortunate.  :)  She won't come on the back though.

Have fun & stay safe,

David.

Welcome Richard from another Richard!..lol. I passed my test when the wheel was still square (well it feels that long ago anyway)!..I bought my first Fazer about 6 weeks or so ago as I was always a Bandit man until my last K3 1200 fell on my leg breaking it in two places and putting me out of work for nearly 4 months!..At least the Fazer is 40 kg lighter and a dream to ride!

You have to walk round golf courses - a bike is much more fun!  :)
