The garage is finished and in use, not had any wrinkly demonstrators round to stop me using the access road from any direction yet, so all seems to have gone quiet.

As I suspected it was all about not liking change etc

excellent post mate, even more so for me as im a brickie and have had that many times with garages and garden walls.
if you live near peterborough please feel free to borrow me open piped 1584 dyna to "bimble" up and down said lane/access road a few times, that oughta bring on a few anuerisms.. ;) :)

we`ve had same for yrs comin on 9yr an we are still the new lot
3 of my kids born here
we even had a petition to get us out because i dared to have 2 cars and a motorbike
we were classed by oldies as anti social
no point even entertaining the bullshit
different when they bump into your car in their`s or bump your fence,gate and car in their gimp chairs not because their disabled mind but cause they are to fat and lazy to walk and all their friends have them lol
should actually make the old kents get them road legal with insurance the lot,bet most of them would disapear
rant over enjoy your garage they will all be dead soon  :evil :evil :evil :evil :evil

it was only the real old ones and their kids that signed about 7 houses
they had their grown up kids sign it who didnt even stay at their property`s was a joke really
the oldies just hate change
