fz6 2004-06
« on: 02 June 2012, 02:44:36 pm »
Hi all,
does anyone know if there is a web site for a complete breakdown of components for my fz6. By this i mean line drawings. AJ SUTTON  have a pretty good list of parts but i'm trying to find a small component in the thottle housing that engages with a small hole in the handle bars to stop the thottle twisting.
It would be great if anyone has any ideas.
Thanks KRS :\

Try this site's Downloads section as there are plenty of manuals.

I'm assuming its the locating pin in the twistgrip housing?

you can't buy the pin separately, only the whole switchgear lump. best solution I've found for a broken locating pin is to drill a very small hole in the centre of the pin outline and screw in a small wood or self tapping screw, then cut off the screw head.
