FZS600
« on: 12 September 2019, 08:09:15 am »

Not sure on price but my FZS600 is getting in my way and is not being used, done only a few miles past 2 years.

Needs front brakes sorting as starting to bind, not got an MOT....

19K miles on engine, has had issue where i snapped an exhaust stud, ended up with the cylinder head off to re-drill a blank opposite to allow exhaust to clamp, no issue since...some may recall the thread, i will never forget it :)

Any one interested would need to pick up and collect with a van, what would people say its worth, bearing in mind what it needs sorting....

- Braided Lines Hel
- Scoprion Exhaust
- Clean rear caliper
- Good chain
- Little bits of rust creeping in...

Will get some pics on later...not got time right now.

Also have an R6 shock that i got off a member here with the dogbones, so someone might want that, not on the bike right now, stock one is on...

Thanks

Chris

Also, upgraded Hyperpro progressive fork springs.....not actually a bad bike just not being looked after and has some history i.e. exhaust bolt snapping carry on.

A note on the exhaust, in this pic, it does NOT have these down pipes on any more but you can see the furthest clamp i.e. 2nd one in, top left where you can see the OLD hole, where there was a stud, it was drilled opposite i.e. in a blank so clamp is not normal way around, no issue and works fine with the stock, and these headers, that aren't actually with the bike, sold them separate.

Local machine shop did the work as i took the head down.

it looks like a nice clean bike but you need to tell us where you are, what age the bike is and the price.
