clutch pull on the mighty 1000 is fatiguing for my weak man hands so I sourced one of these and just fitted it up.
Oh man, I never even thought to look for something like this - thank you for posting this! how much lighter did it make the clutch action..?I dont like the idea of the of having the lower adjustment being right on the end as per your vid, were you not able to adjust it..?Also what hydraulic option..?ps. you may want to edit the screenshot as its showing parts of the address it was delivered too
Quoteclutch pull on the mighty 1000 is fatiguing for my weak man hands so I sourced one of these and just fitted it up. The clutch on the old thou is pretty light. What you do need to do is lubricate the cable every other year or so.
I use one of these,https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sealey-MS038-Motorcycle-Twin-Clamp-Cable/dp/B004LY3GDO/ref=asc_df_B004LY3GDO/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309775958298&hvpos=1o5&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17230483616367043640&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9046992&hvtargid=pla-492870829172&psc=1&th=1&psc=1
Cheers for that VNA, just ordered 2 from EBAY 1 for the eldest lad as well as mine. Struggled for years making modelling clay cups to oil cables right faff . What oil have you found the best to use with it.
Compared to modern bikes, with only 3 clutch springs, it’s heavy
