Bautista to Honda
« on: 07 August 2019, 07:51:54 pm »
Looks like there'll be a vacancy in the Ducati garage as Alvaro is likely to turn down his new Ducati contract. Honda are throwing their weight behind a WSB campaign next season, and Alvaro looks like he's going to be the main man. Jack hasn't got a deal for next year yet, but can't see him fancying that somehow. Maybe Scott would enjoy being on the road again. I'm pretty sure Haslam's only on a 1 year deal, and that spot could be Topraks next year. The merry go round begins.

I think you mean Alex. Sam can’t stay on a bike long enough to be 3rd.  :lol

Yep, Alex's reward will be a severe demotion, as his options are limited to non-existent. Toprak is not only very talented, but gets large financial help via the Turkish government, which any team would welcome. His manager took exception at his being excluded from the Suzuka 8 hour Kawasaki team, so it's off to Yamaha.

Scott confirmed as Alvaro's replacement for next season, and Alex out of a job at Pata Yamaha as Toprak takes that seat. The mad merry go round is in full swing.

Latest Bautista rumour is that he'll be going back to MotoGP taking over Zarco's ride on the KTM. I was hoping Bradley Smith was going to fill that seat.

Cal to get Zarco as his new team mate after the Motegi round, as Taka brings forward his shoulder surgery operation. Maybe this will springboard Zarco to getting Lorenzo's seat after his disasterous year with Honda.

Wow!! everything crossed on that one I just think he couldn't click with the KTM for whatever reason, I think he's a great talent who was certainly overshadowed by Pol Espargaro this season,I just hope he can run with Cal and not have the same scenario, because Cal is as hard as they come, team mate or not.
