Linkpipe

Anyone used the fz6 link pipe on an Fzs600?
I don't want underseat pipes! Just a high level pipe.
Any info would be great.

That would be an interesting, quite original Mod! ...then where would the Silencer part be secured?
Alternatively you could go to any decent motorcycle exhaust manufacturer, to make you up a custom length/shaped link pipe - so the silencer sits at the desired new position?

I've been running a high level on my thou for a couple of years. Certainly looks different, but as I do trips abroad I need to bolt on pannier frames so have reverted to a conventional look at present. If you can find a motorbike specific exhaust guy, that's the way to go. I fabricated the mount using the pillion peg mounting points  but is quite time consuming to get it right. The exhaust guy charged 125 quid including a centrestand stop.If you google Pats Motorcycle Page, there's a pic of his thou with a high level, to give you an idea.

Blue bike. ;) NICE! Infact doesn't look like a drastic change (from the factory configuration/position).
