Can anybody suggest a way to remove the sticky tape that holds the wheel balance weights on?

I started at the top of the list of suggestions with WD40 and the edge of my credit card. It worked a treat. Thanks for all of your suggestions.

Double sided tape does the trick to restick used weights if you have no new ones. You will likely need to reshape them though as they bend a bit when getting them off.
