I’m in the market for some second hand stainless. Do you know anywhere good to source them? Fleabay only seems to have new ones.

Edit: there’s actually some on the for sale section right now!

All what trouble?? A €3 sandblast and 13€ of paint
Why would i want to spend  a wad of cash when the original are good to go.

16€ vs £150 + postage to lithuania... go figure.

I see you were having some problems with non OEM brake piston seals as well, how’d you get on with them in the end? Is this the front or rear brake seals?

For the rear I had to splash out on new OEM ones to finish the job. I’m gonna do the fronts this weekend and I’m hoping I can re-use the old ones if they’re not too far gone.

As it stands at the minute, back half of belly pan ive found a way but the front half still thinking how to do itBig big thanks to Mtread who went out of his way to help me, what a ti top foccer you really are.
just waiting for my custom "el diablo" graphics  for the tank and some yamaha ones for the bellypan
I might have to ditch the "Bike It Raptor 2" headlight/fairing  which i had painted in satin matt silver, it didnt pass the TA (MOT) so either i try bribe the the tester :) which is possible here in lithuania for a bottle of anything .....or junk the whole thing and get a honda  hornet headlight plus fairing.... i know i know but i need to ride it NOW!!

Thank you

Thanks His Dudeness !!

I wish i had the wheels painted blue, i like the gunmetal grey certainly a better finish than the std yamaha black ones, but i think blue wheels would have had a bigger impact against the matt silver.

I paid just 80€ for the work and 38€ for the silver and grey paint, cheap as chips.
Just got to register it now!!

Well done...looks very smart..
Where did u get the little spotlights...?
I think blue paint on the wheels would look cheap, the gold looks great with the blue spot brakes.... that's enough...!! :)

I think it will look better with the bellypan properly fixed on.
The spotlights are just ebay ones, U5 125w with flee slitch
£11.99.

I just screwed them to the rad using the original bolt holes.
I bought them to be seen , lets say lithuanian drivers aren't the best  :lol
I just wired them up to the original side light switch.

Cool...
actually I bought the same spotlights but in silver...and bolted them to the crash bars. Theyr'e good lights but too low ..and they look real cheap..it never occured to me to fix to the upper bolt of the rad trim...I think I will do that...and spray the housing black :rollin

Did you do the forks yourself eldiablo? They look pretty sweet.  Mine are looking a bit ratty and it’s the next job after the season.

Yep just a rattle can job, someone had previously had a go at polishing (just the fronts  :\ ) and they looked tired, was putting new 15w oil and seals in as well, i wasnt sure at first that the silver/gold forks would go down well at 1st even i was unsure but ti seems that foccers like them.

I have the same silver fairing as you but still have the original front fairing. I’ve also gone for blue accents here and there like you were talking about in one of your posts. I might have to spray my forks blue as well to really make it pop.

You can do it on the bike if your not changing the seals or oil.

I was changing both so it was easier off the bike, there's a video on youtube with a fellow foccer spraying his black on the bike did a good job.

I think silver and blue definately looks good
