It's a bloody disgrace we have to pay the same as cars anyway, i think bikes are about 0.1% of the problem.

What about the incinerators the council's keep building?!

I've just put all my cars into the checker and I'm confused:

04 plate Skoda Octavia 1.9 Tdi doesn't pass (but I didn't expect it to).
our "new" 11 plate Skoda Octavia 1.6 Tdi doesn't pass (I expected it to)
My 55 plate 1.4 Ford Fiesta passes.

Now this is the bit that REALLY confuses me

I thought road tax is now based on emmissions:

The 11 plate Skoda is only £30 a year (bargain!) So, that's chucking out low emmitions, yeah?  But still fails ULEZ
The 04 plate Skoda was £125 a year so not so good, I get why it would not be included in ULEZ
The 55 plate Fiesta costs me £145 and the most expensive car in terms of tax and yet passes

WTF???

My cars don't pollute according to tax but do according to ULEZ!

I Dare say TFL want you do their data base building for them and then ofcourse there's the extra revenue to be gained from those who won't question it.

I think Vehicle Excise Duty is based on CO2 emissions (greenhouse gases) not NOx.

Fascinating!!!
Would Mr Khan react to something like this??
I would hope so as he stands to generate a shed load more revenue from genuinely dirty, poisonous  cars and might feel more benevolent towards bikes as a consequence.
We can but hope  :rolleyes
Take a deep breath, coz it all starts now, when you pull the foccin' pin

Auto pay sounds interesting ;)  are the camera's on both sides of the road checking vehicles on both sides of the road?

They even charge you a tenner for the courtesy of trying to be efficient by setting up Auto Pay with your bank details. It's Dick Turpin all over again.  :rolleyes

I'd be expecting a refund if I'd paid the rip-off charge and then couldn't get anywhere because of all these middle class, champagne socialist 'Climate Change Protesters' blocking all the roads in central London.

Apparently some people are missing hospital appointments due to the actions of these priveledged, virtue signalling dickheads.

Technically, these soap dodging pricks are causing congestion in London, so they should be charged accordingly.
Bang them up until they've paid off their bill, and we really don't care if they make a stand, they can stay inside all their life as far as i'm concerned to think about how their pathetic bellend behaviour has caused more bad than good.
