Just to let you all know that this Friday, 5th October, is the last bike night of 2018 at the Steel Horse Cafe, between Usk and Abergavenny.

Weather forecast looks favourable and there's usually a good turn out.

See you all there  :D

Only been to a couple and I get there for about 5:30pm.
Last one had a good 20+ bikes when I arrived and more coming and going until about 7:30pm.
The one before that was during the heatwave in July and there were quite a few more.
As it's the last one for the year this Friday and the weather looks OK, there might be a few more.

Usually a good smattering of Fazers there too.
I met up with Andrew (AJM) last time out and he's the first other Foccer I've met there, so plenty of potential newbies for the site  :)

Hi Dave, if I take the bike into work I can go straight after finishing, reckon i could be there for 5ish. Don't mind riding back in the dark, just slows me down with the poor headlights :eek

Might be able to make it down for an hour or so. I'm hoping I can change my forks for some pretty black ones I bought off Mick H on here tomorrow providing I can get hold of a fork axle tool, hopefully fowlers has one

Oxford spindle key fits sizes 17 19 22 and 24mm from Machine Mart £12.98. Plenty on the bay for half that price though. Halfords sometimes stock this item if that's any help.

I'd usually get this kind of tool off eBay if I'm not in a rush but I quite fancy getting the forks change quickly especially as I've just noticed the compression adjusters are seized. I live five minutes from both Halfords and Fowlers so hopefully one of them with have it

Noticed you hoped to get the forks changed for tomorrow, that's why I had a quick surf. Would hate to think how much it is at Fowlers. I needed mine in a hurry and local motor factors ordered it in for the same day. Good luck, hope you get one.

Absolutely mate.
Good to meet you as well and the CB looked very nice too.
Looking forward to seeing the twin Fazer  ;)

We've got loads of great roads between us so shouldn't be too much of a hassle to meet up and enjoy a few miles together.
Let's hope we get some nice weather over the coming weeks and months.

Well, you never know, might get the odd crisp, sunny Sunday over the coming months and I'm sure some of us Welsh Foccers can organise something between us all.
Watch this space I guess.
