I have the FZ6-SA (the version before yours) and the recommended chain tension was 45-55mm (doesn't matter if it's on the side stand or centre stand). According to the Haynes Manual, it's the same for the S2, so 30mm is too tight.
A quick and dirty check I found is to try to push the chain up against the swing arm about 3 or 4 inches behind the foot peg. If it just taps against the swingarm but you have to keep pushing it to hold it there, the tension should be about right. If you can't get it to touch or it it's very easy to hold it there, it's too tight or loose respectively.
