« on: 22 August 2018, 08:49:07 pm »

  • Headlight - all of the L/H mounts have gone on mine
  • Grab rails - would prefer them in 5LV blue
  • Riders foot pegs - pair, coz spares are handy
  • Crash bungs - in a similar style to the OEM yam ones, but will consider most makes
  • Fork/swingarm sliders - like the r&g ones.
  • Span adjustable levers - (brake and clutch)

Just add to this request, it looks like I can take the front fairing, stay, screen and infill of a 2003 FZS600 as that whole front end will bolt to my FZS1000
I have update the OP.

More importantly....can we assume that you are unhurt?.........a shame you have some bike damage but as the saying goes..."a good crash is one you walk away from!"

Dunno how cheap you aiming to patch things up for, but don't forget you can get brand new fairings fully painted from Fowlers at a reasonable price:

https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/4180101/fzs1000-fazer-5lvf-2003-130-a/cowling-1

BODY, FRONT UPPER 1 5LV-2835G-00-P3 Dark Purplish Blue Metallic L
BACKORDER NO STOCK £263.52 inc. VAT

Usually compares pretty favourable to anything second hand that needs patching and painting. Fairing mounting stay ain't cheap though at £180...
FZS600 one on ebay here.
Be wary though, these are often subtly bent and are a pig to align with a rubber mallet.

No idea about tank compatibility though. Mirrors and headlights are definitely the same though.

Got a replacement OME fairing for my gen2 1000 £250 inc vat from Arnolds in Leicester, perfect colour match took 10 days and had to come from JAPAN to get the right if you buy new you will need to take the frame number.

That not so long ago that cowling in black was £160 new... so brand new from Fowlers would be the last resort if I have a choice.

FZS1000 -
  • Front fairing, preferably in blue (its I beleive the same as some R1's)
  • Tank - same colour
  • Left infill - 5LV-2836K-00
  • Left handle bar weight
  • Left underseat side panel.
  • Span adjustable clutch lever in black, or a pair.
  • Left hand grab rail, or pair.
  • Left hand rider foot peg and bracket.
FZS600 (2003) -
  • Front fairing, preferably in blue
  • Both infills - 5RT-2836K-00
  • Cowling stay - 5RT-28356-00 - the only difference I can is the 1000 version as a little antivibration mount at the bottom of the stay. (the 1000 version is PN - 5LV-28356-00)
  • Screen

Evening, checked that link, unfortunately  they are not OE FZS1000 bar ends, rather some random no-names for Im guessing 3rd party handle bars.

Think you might be wrong on that one
Nope, the original had already ended and the one that now shows with the words "FZS1000" in the title, but with an image for non FZS1000 bar ends.

Regarding the second link, £80 for a pair of bar ends isn't realistically going to happen.

I could be wrong but they look identical to FJ1200 bar ends. usually some knocking about on ebay but might need a re-spray. Stainless steel one's were only around £30 or so.

If any use - I've got a pair of good condition genuine original levers - clutch obviously not adjustable though. Say £15 posted.

Yeah, the one you have has a few miles on it so I shall now go looking for a new lever and low mileage bracket.
