Quiet roads for the final?
« on: 15 July 2018, 09:09:34 am »
Last chance for some quiet roads this afternoon. Hopefully a lot of people will be glued to the final, leaving the roads safer for us to enjoy. For those of us that take advantage rubber side down, shiny side up, ride safe and enjoy

Did mine this morning.
Out at 0730, 350 miles of the best Wales has to offer and back home to a steak dinner.
Today has been a good day.

Me too......went to ACE CAFE for 70's day then down to box hill , then A272 to loomies north to basingstoke and ice cream then home to high wycombe , somewhere in the region of 180/200 miles , had my 18 year old son on the back for his first long ride , think he enjoyed it but it was bl**dy hot ........bike running well but obviously taking it a bit easy , no slouch though   ;)

One, is never going to be enough.....

Sorry guys wimped out just to hot, wringing wet just getting the bike out the garage in t/shirt, shorts and slaps thought of body armour, jacket. etc etc just didn't appeal. So settled for a few pints of ice cold cider and the GP I recorded earlier.

Who actually won the final?

I went out and blew £100 on slate chippings for the border between the patio and the fence. Took the long way home in my car. Drank cold beer. Cleaned out the garage. Drank more cold beer.
