Underseat storage - how big is it?
« on: 24 May 2018, 05:34:41 pm »
Hello there,
I'm after a fzs1000 and would like to find out about the size of the underseat storage. I got an Almax III 1.5m, does anybody know if that fits under the seat of the thou? Also when we go touring I take my other half's Almax IV 2m under my seat to lock up both bikes, any idea about one of those?
Any info much appreciated.
D.

It's only small.  I've not had a chain under it but I can't see a 1.5m chain fitting to be honest... I have the std toolkits and a tyre plug kit and it's pretty full with that.

Maybe a small top box would be the answer.
Broken, bruised, forgotten, sore,
too fucked up to care any more.

ah, shame, well makes sense as it's a bigger engine I suppose. Thanks for the info!

I’ve had a 1m chain under mine and the toolkit. Not as much room as the FZS600 I had.
