Headlight switch - Yamaha FZS1000 Fazer Gen1 2002
« on: 23 May 2018, 10:18:15 am »
Hi Everyone,

Just looking for some advice.

My bike failed the MOT as I have a loose headlight flick switch from right hand handlebar switch and I can't see to locate a replacement. Anyone got any tips how to fix it?

I need it checked on Saturday and passed as public transport is killing my patience and wallet at the moment - a solution to ease my sanity would be much appreciated.  :'(

Two solutions (if you can't find a replacement)

Take the switch housing apart and see if there's any way of tightening the actual switch.

Or

Take the headlamp switch out of the housing and join wires together so the lights are on all the time when the ignition is on.
