Hi from Royston
« on: 09 March 2018, 08:49:54 am »
hi all,
Just joined, a BMW rider from Royston. Tired of huge servicing bills, thinking of trading on and buying a gen 1. Already owned the Gen2. Thinking of Home maintaining the original one. Sensible idea or not?

Hiya RTphil and welcome. Totally understand where you're coming from regarding the beemer. I've been riding for 55 years now, and have had some crap bikes along the way.
The GS1150 I had really took the biscuit. Never spent so much money keeping one bike on the road. An independent beemer mechanic that I know, rides a Honda  :lol .
