Centre stand spring
« on: 06 March 2018, 07:41:42 pm »
Hi, my centre stand spring has lost it's zing! Actually I think it's two springs? One inside the other maybe- has anyone any Ideas of the sizes I'm looking for or had any luck sourcing some new ones? Any ideas much appreciated. The stand works fine but it sort of floats between the fully raised up and half way down positions  :o

I recall DisorderlyPunk resolved similar woes a few months ago? Will try and dig out the thread.

Cheers gents, it's had me worried as I know someone came a cropper last winter when their centre stand came off mid journey.
luckily they didn't come to too much harm from memory

I'll get the springs ordered- it's not worth trolling round local ironmongers to try and find the right spec
