« on: 08 February 2018, 03:00:17 am »

Alright guys, Iv'e had a little mishap and managed to cut the side of my generator cable, ive cut through 2 white wires and cut into blue a little. there looks to be 3 white 1 yellow and 1 blue

Just wondering if these white cables do the same thing, can i just solder them back up?

Usually that would be the 3 windings of the alternator and they are interchangeable. You should therefore be able to solder them up no problem. Normally white wires on a Yam, Honda use yellow as a rule.

the yellow and blue should be your pick up coil wires so definatly repair the blue one if you exposed any bare wire
