Hi guys, who have fitted aftermarked handle bars on yours fz1 ? i need to know wjat was the width of handlebars, and did you modified clutch/throttle cables, and wires?

I've got rizoma bars on mine wig the matching riser. They are about 2 inches lower than the originals so my brake lines have quite a bit of slack in them and just adjusted the clutch cable accordingly. I could do with replacing the brake lines for shorter ones but generally just can't be bothered haha

oh, nice, so the 740mm width would be nice start, ok i will have it in my mind, that i can buy that kind of width handlebars, and dont have to be scared that cables will be too short

Just out of interest did you measure and order the correct length or did you buy some for another bike ie R1, R6 etc etc?

no need extend brake lines?? its just 2cmm longer than standar, or 1 cm from one side and 1cm to toher
