do you have a button to press to disarm an alarm, an imobiliser for a fazer needs a button as we dont have transponder keys like modern cars do

i have a datatool alarm fitted which i have to figure out how to remove before i fit the motogadget basic and RFID unit

keyless ignition
hold a little fob against a hidden device (behind a panel) and ignition comes on
may sound a little show off but it increases security (no barrel to screwdriver)
and it gets rid of that god awfull barrel from the headstock which gets in the way when you have gone naked or fork swapped

thanks, and yes thats exactly what i have done, ive gone naked and plan on having the top yoke clutter free and having a motogadget mini speedo fitted

to the person who asked about a button, no there is nothing and the keys appear to be just an ordinary key so im thinking it doesnt have one which is great news

Damn that going naked on a motorcycle, might get yer dangly bits caught in the chain and sprocket. not much fear of that here though would have a job to get them to rest on the seat wile I'm sitting on it  :lol

I guess doing away with the lock and barrel assembly you lose the steering lock also, slight shuffle backwards on the security front me thinks :)

As standard, the FZS has no immobiliser or alarm.
