Icons/new
« on: 18 September 2011, 03:19:56 pm »
On Yucky there was an icon showing new/unread/hot threads.

all we seem to have here is 'new' in the same font/colour as the rest which is pretty unclear!

Can the yucky way or similar be implemented?

Not sure what you mean. On this board there is this showing forums that have new messages and this showing what threads have new posts - clicking on either takes you to the new stuff.

OK, found the icons, but don't get the 'new' one - see below

Icons would be better if they were colour coded - they all look the same at a glance.

That's odd! Don't you get this? If not maybe it's a cache issue, try a refresh / F5 :\

Just fired up IE (usually FF) and it was showing 'missing' images icon for 'new' - so it looks like you may have them cached, but the originals aren't in the server where they should be.

Just checked and it's defo on the server; I've cleared SMF's cache so if you clear FF's it should come up.

Somehow your language was set to english_british-utf8 and the board's was set to english (ie US English). both are now corrected and hopefully you'll see the new image now.
