dont try to vinyl wrap
« on: 07 October 2017, 08:56:14 pm »
well incase anyone else has the bright idea to try and DIY vinyl wrap there bike - just dont
holy crap is the tank hard to do, ripped it off and decided just to paint it when i can
it may be the quality of the wrap i used i dont know but will just give it to a professional next time

but there is only one way to find out you cannot do something - and that is to try
-except for flying using arms as wings - never try that, i promise it wont work - even if the drugs make you think you can

I think Apage on here did it successfully on his tank - maybe you are just crap  :evil
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

Haha! "Speak of the devil..."

I was just reading as you posted Fazersharp!

Guess you just need the right frame of mind and the patience of a saint!

https://youtu.be/WpznwgzF0UU. This one was on the Versys. To be fair the fazer tank was a royal PITA! I ended up only doing the top half!

I tried it and failed. Motorcycles have far too many curves. Even the pros don't like doing motorcycles.
Feel the Fear and do it anyway!

I AM CRAP
im also a cheapskate and bought some cheap ass stuff
either way im going to have a kick ass looking laptop/phone and vape with the leftovers

ooh will also say after watching that video about the versyectamy that the shapes involved are alot easier as it has those nice little side panels that make it a lot easier to hide bits / cut off, try doing a fzs tank in two halves - holy crap is it not a good day with £12 wrap lol
