Fairing fasteners
« on: 04 June 2017, 08:17:36 am »
Morning all, one of my plastic fairing fasteners has gone walkies, the ones that secure the infill panel. I've done the usual search on ebay but can't find them, does anyone have a web link they can share or have one or two (always good to have a spare) knocking around that i could buy. Thanks in advance for any help  :thumbup

Ebay, type in Yamaha fairing rivets & select size for the hole also try Car plastic rivets they are cheaper if you can find the right size.

If you access Yamaha online parts list (like I did when I "lost" one of these), the part no is 90269-07076 & they are surprisingly inexpensive. Yamaha call it a "rivet" as it has a push to lock, unscrew to loosen action.

Whats he going to do with 100 of the little things? :lol

Could probably be on a small earner selling them on here, i bet most people have at least one duff or missing one on their infill panels.  :)

Thank you Gents', you're all fabulous. Dave 48 I 'lost' mine when I dropped it last week, but I'm not gonna admit to that 😌
