« on: 12 May 2017, 04:59:31 pm »
Hi all. Always fancied a Fazer Gen 1 and hopefully will soon be in ownership of a 2004 with less than 5k miles on it!!! Some nice touches to it and in mint condition.  Just got to agree terms??? Regards, JC

Not the 'fast' red one, is the purplish blue. Nice rear sets, belly pan, tail tidy, hugger. Don't know if it's been Ivanised but believe this is the thing to do. It belongs to a mate at work so may make negotiations easier, or maybe not. Hopefully he doesn't get all emotional when he takes it for the mot. Any steer on price would be helpful but have a good idea as I have been watching Fazer 1000s for a couple of months now. J

Have a look back through a few pages of ads in the For Sale section taking into account the low mileage(which is not always an asset)and the mint condition.Purplish blue is the sharpist colour,I couldn't waste any more time looking for one so got my red one, but prefer its black engine. It's obviously not been used much so also bear in mind the brake hoses and tyres could be 13 yrs old, also the exup valve may never have been serviced. As it's a pals bike you'll be able to ask these questions which is an advantage.
Good luck, keep us up to date on how you get on. :)
