Hi everyone,
This is my first post, as I'm still finding my way around the site and seeing what's already been posted etc. There's some great stuff on here!  8)
Regarding the designs posted in this thread, and just in case some members may not be aware of this, the official Yamaha 'Tuning Fork' logo has two different designs depending on if it's used for the music or motors divisions of the company.
The ones used above are for the music division, as the tuning fork tips sit INSIDE the outer circle.
The motors division logo has the tuning fork tips sitting ON the outer circle.
Hate to be pedantic (... :D !), but I work for Yamaha and it kinda annoys them when the logos get mixed up! As far as copyright goes, the usual caveats apply...  ;)

Nice comebacks!  :D :D
As for being a 'foccin expert'......! :D  Far from it, apart from what I've picked up riding bikes for forty years (is 52 old?! ;) )Besides, an (e)x is a non-entity and a spert is a drip under pressure....!
Even worse, I was also a pro musician for many many years, and yes, I DO own several Yamaha six stringers as well as me Fazer Thou......! :z :D :D
The designs look good to me by the way. (I'm also an ex graphic designer and printer.....!!!) :z :z :z :D
I'll get me coat shall I...! ;) :D

I'd have one. Almost as useful as the one I had on my old red Fazer.

I find a nice bright headlight is much better, they'll often move over just to get it out of their mirror :)

Personally I wouldn't bother putting anything on your number that shouldn't already be there, too tempting for plod to give you a tug and start hastling you about it. There's plenty of other placesto put it.

spoonlamp - the idea of the stickers is normally to promote the forum so people see it when the bike is parked up, also when people are at meeting places like bourton on the water, ace cafe etc, people can "watch out theres a foccer about" :lol

I'll throw my proverbial in the the proverbial....

But i could do something a little more conventional if demand is there.
I'll happily use my graphic design powers for good, but i can't print stuff.

OK, a more serious/modest attempt at something we might actually want to use.

The idea is that it comes in either black or white printed on a round transparent sticker.

I'll keep print-quality files to hand should it be wanted by the group.

Erm, your more serious attempt has got the wrong tuning fork!!  :lol . The transparent backing is a good idea though, guaranteed to match your bike, or if its going in your tax disc holder, you can stick whatever flag you want on the back.

That depends on which one is correct. There are a number of different ones.

If you can do them in tax disc size, Id have one.

Easy enough. I can just post up a printable file which you can then print on a home/work printer, cut out and then insert.

Problem there is it would mean everyone having to buy a pack of clear sticky backed paper just to print off one label. Might be better if someone could do them and post them out for a price that covered the costs. ;) ;) ;)

See here for a sheet of 6 on A4.
If your printer asks if you want it scaling to fit, select NO.

Sample:

If there's enough interest in the proper transparent stickers, then i guess we could get some pre-paid/pre-orders going to cover the initial cost of printing a batch + envelopes + stamps and i'll just send them out.

At least we now have a use for the tax disc holders...
