Double bubble screen or standard on a Foxeye.
« on: 14 April 2017, 06:15:35 pm »
My 2002 Foxeye came with a double bubble screen but if I stand up riding the wind noise decreases. Has any one swapped from a double bubble to a standard and did it reduce wind noise, I'm 5'10" with shortish legs and a longish body.
Cheers
Carl

My bike came with a double bubble screen but i simply didn't like the look of it so bought an original one.
Every persons journey is different so it really is very much a personal thing, and i s'pose an environmental one as well.
I live in NW London so my roads are a little bit more protected from the elements, but i do appreciate country and motorway riding can be a complete ball ache in certain weathers. Moderators, what is the issue with copying and pasting, or as above, all i did was delete a sentence and it shrank the next one?Bit weird......it would be something i'd have to torment my IT crew about at work. :lol

I'm 5'10" too. Bought my Foxeye with a standard screen and found too much buffeting. Bought a double bubble. Problem solved.
