dog bones
« on: 20 March 2017, 09:08:14 am »

Hi

Can anyone give me the sizes of the bolts that go through the dog bones.
I don't want to remove to measure.
Need length of unthreaded and total length as in pic, from inside of bolt head.

I have new adjustable dog bones that are wider than originals and so will need longer bolts to fit.

Measure it on the bike, measure from outside edge of dog bone to outside edge of dog bone.
To get the full length measure from outside edge of dog bone bolt head end to end of bolt, nut end.
The important thing is that the dog bones rest on the shoulder not the threads

Thanks unfazed

Managed to measure the knuckle tonight, add width of the two rose joints and I'm there.
My mate is getting me stainless bolts and nylock nuts sorted.
At least it was dry tonight so wasn't bad.
