Summer trip to Wales
« on: 05 February 2017, 05:56:19 pm »
My brother in law and a few of he's mate's are doing a week trip around Wales in July and I've signed up for at least 4 day's and just thought I'd put it out there so if anyone fancy's joining there more than welcome. There booking ponderosa in march for the first night and that's as far as it's got at the moment.

I have that Wales itch again too. I'll need to scratch it (pun intended) at some point this year, but I'll just watch the forecast and book somewhere to stay for a few days at the last minute. There's a hotel I stayed at before in Beddgelert; might use that one again for Snowdonia, then find somewhere else further south for a couple more days.

:eek .....No need to worry lads, I've calmed right down since getting the MT10  :b

Actually, Wales is a bit of a dilemma.  You want the Fazer for the trip down but need it to morph into the MT10 when you're  there.....Oh, what to do ?  :think

Question I know the Ponderosa do B&B but do they have a bar in the B&B bit ? I have been to the Ponderosa many times. Let's face it on tour after a hard days riding one would want a beer or 3. As far as I know the closest pub to the there would be the Britannia Inn?

MT-09 Tracer for those who no longer can handle a BIG boy Fazer

That looks great, know that area well as my parents moved to Gresford many years ago & my youngest brother lives in Minera, not a million miles from Ponderosa. Great roads, hope you have great weather too 👌

Really? I love riding with him, fast but safe 👌 and I only have a Fazer8 after having an R1 for ten years which did everything from track days to touring lol 💞

4 of us have booked a holiday cottage on Anglesey from Sat 1st July. Havent been on the island since the early 80s-how time flies!
Hope weather looks favourably on us but wouldnt mind it being a bit cooler than current heat wave.
Intend exploring Snowdonia/N Wales coast while up there.
